AM3+ CPU in AM4 Board

Hi guys,

I've been out of the PC game for a little while now.

However I do have a PC with a FX-9590 and Asus Sabertooth MoBo.

I'm looking to make the jump to Ryzen when funds allow but for now. Is it possible to get a AM4 motherboard, DDR4 RAM and use it with my FX? If I can that would be perfect and I'll probably buy Ryzen a couple of months down the line.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

No AM4 is a different socket. You will need a Ryzen CPU.
