AM3+ Mobo and CPU questions

I have an FX-6300. Recently, it has been clocking down to 1400mhz and staying there, even under 100% load. I cleared the bios and it still remains. I think it is a problem with the motherboard, so here is my question. Do I get a new motherboard? Or do I upgrade to a new CPU and motherboard?

You mentioned clearing the BIOS? Do you mean CMOS? and have you flashed the BIOS to the most recent update?

How are your cpu temps? It could be a cooling problem causing throttling.

Yes I did, and still not working.

The temps are sub 30C. sometimes even around 27C.
