AM3+ motherboard with BIOS with/without UEFI

I am trying to find a motherboard that supports AMD's FX-6300 cpu but also supports old school PCI cards - UEFI won't - like a SCSI HBA/controller...

I have an LTO-3 tape drive 68-pin SCSI Ultra that I am trying to make go with a motherboard that supports the AMD FX series of processors. The ASUS M5A99X EVO Board has ONLY UEFI, so while it sees the card, it never allows the card to initialize... I need to find a motherboard that will support the FX-6300 processor, but will also let me initialize the Adaptec HBA

Probably want to look into older chipset boards like the Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3.

I will look at the Gigabyte boards... I can always shove a SATA III card in if disk transfer becomes an issue... Thanks
