AM3+ socket future?

will amd launch some new processors on am3+ socket or it is a dead end?
I want to upgrade later and i will not buy a high end motherboard if there is no future for am3+.

Can't say exactly because AMD is now concentrating more on APUs.

Last I had heard was their next Cpu release was going to be socket AM3+. It's been a while though, but I haven't heard any differently.
