Ok, so I currently have an AMD Fx 4300, a gt 730, an am3+ mobo (78lmt - s2).
On wednesday, I am buying an AMD Ryzen 3 1200, a 1050 2gb, and an a320m Am4 mobo.

The issue here is that I am concerned that I need to replace other parts that my current computer already has. For example, will I need a drive because right now I have a "WD Blue 1TB (2012)". Do I need to buy an SSD?

Thank you!

Solution
The WD drive should do fine. No SSD needed. In terms of other parts, you have the cpu with matching sockets of the mobo, a gpu (because ryzens don’t have integrated graphics). The only things I could think of that you did not list are...

-case
-psu
-ram (2gb BARE min, 8+ gb recommended)
-An os
-monitor and peripherals.

If you have these but didn’t mention them, you should be good, but listing any other specs can identify any potential swaps that may need to take place.

Yeah, I have those and didn't mention them. Thanks so much dude, you saved me from ordering something I didn't need. I appreciate the answer my dude.

The AM3+ takes ddr3 ram. The AM4 uses ddr4. Your old ram won't work, you'll need to purchase new. Other than cpu and ram, everything else will transfer just fine.

With one possible exception. You'll need to jump through a few hoops to make sure your win10 key is valid, like logging into Microsoft account and removing your old system from the registration.

So I forget what it's called, but I did check the Windows 10 installation and it basically said I could do get Windows without buying it again; just by linking the Microsoft account. Thanks for the heads up

If it is linked to an MS account, yes.
The license travels with you, instead of specific hardware.
