I have an msi x470 gaming plus max motherboard and a Ryzen 5 2600, I want to buy a 5700x but I don't know if there would be any problem with the necessary bios update because I am pretty sure the needed bios is nos compatible with the old 2600, would there be any problem during the updating process? Thank you all in advance

I don't see any notices on the BIOS download page identifying the 2600 not being supported with the newest BIOS -- https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X470-GAMING-PLUS/support
What reference do you have for it not supporting the 2600 ?

In https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X470-GAMING-PLUS/support#cpu it's listed that for the R5 2600 I have to use the 7B79vA0 bios, and for the R7 5700x it says I have to use the 7B79vAL version
Those listed BIOS versions are MINIMUMS. Unless stated in the notes, like the 7B79vAA :
This BIOS does not support below Bristol Ridge CPU due to BIOS rom size limitation:
Athlon x4 970/950/940, A12-9800/9800E, A10-9700/9700E, A8-9600, A6-9550/9500/9500E
Then you would have issues, but I see none.
