So I finally decided to upgrade from my i5-4440 to a Ryzen 5 2600, and for some reason the 960 refuses to output onto my screen. I have tested it with the intel board and everything, and it still works on the intel mobo (Listed underneath). So, not entirely sure as to what this could be, me and my friend have thought it could be anything from mobo to gpu, to even my power supply. However, I have put in my previous gpu (750) which is listed below and it works so far with the AM4 setup, not sure why or how, but it works. (sidenote, I sent back the mobo once because i assumed that this was the issue.)
I have not found anything on this issue previously so I will assume that it is somehow a hardware failure etc.
CPUS
- Ryzen 5 2600
- Intel i5-4440
MOBOS
- ASUS B450M - A AM4 motherboard
- MSI Z87 Gaming M motherboard
GPU
- msi OC edition gtx 960
- zotac gtx 750
PSU
- Raidmax 500W psu (Not sure where this came from, but i have it, its green and such)
