AM4 Motherboards Compatible with Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16gb

Solution

All AM4 B350 motherboards require DDR4 RAM and therefore yes the corsair vengeance RAM will be supported. Ryzen determines all RAM speed above 2666 MHz as overclocking and Ryzen did have some RAM speed compatibility issues at launch however it's *mostly* fixed now. If you're RAM speed it over 2666MHz make sure you go into the BIOS and turn XMP on which *should* get your RAM running at it's rated speed.

There shouldn't be "compatibility" issues, just make sure your motherboard supports the speed of your memory. Some motherboards support high speeds but it may only be achieved by overclocking your RAM.

If you want to overclock, make sure that your motherboard then supports the speeds you want to reach.

AMD's version of XMP is called AMP. But either ways Ryzen supports XMP. I'm not sure if AMP is called XMP in the Bios... but it's labeled XMP. (Maybe they're both present) But XMP should get your RAM Running at Rated speeds, especially now that there has been so much time for Ryzen to mature and the Agesa updates
