I recently bought some cheap thermal compound called Amasan T12. Is it worth removing the stock paste from my CPU/cooler and applying this? My CPU is an FX 6350 with stock cooler, and I don't plan on overclocking or anything, so really I'm just doing it for fun in a sense.
I can't really find much info on this paste, but there is a Tom's Hardware article that used this paste to test box coolers:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-cooler-charts-2008,1784-8.html
At the bottom it says the difference between Amasan and the stock Intel paste is 3 degrees Celsius. I know this isn't Arctic Silver or Tuniq quality, so I'm a bit hesitant as to whether or not it is worth applying this paste or just sticking with the stock paste.
