When running `amaster -k some.pgm` the pgm does not have the desired
effect. My 2000x2000 pgm does not seem to trigger anything and a small
version of the image at 500x500 definitely gives a different distribution
than the desired one (significantly higher density in the southern half of
the map).
I'm probably missing something stupid; otoh, the amaster.src contains
FixMapChecksums = No
but I still get a warning
Warning: Using map mask file and fixing map checksums is not recomended.
The -u option helps, but it should not be necessary?
amaster v3.10f
I can't seem to find the homepage of amaster either, only the download
from vagabund.
Any help appreciated,
including other apps that generate maps from (grayscale) images.
