Hello, users of tomshardware.
I make music, and recently I have decided to upgrade my laptop to a full-blown desktop.
I did a little research and played around on pcpartpicker and I found something I was happy with.
I'd like to hear what you'd edit with the build or if you would go with something else.
My main focus would be with Music and Games. I do not have a Windows License or a monitor at the moment, and I'd like to stay around the same price as I did in my pcpartpicker build.
Thanks, everyone.

AMD just released these AM4 Athlon x4 950 for the same price as the fx 4350. it has the virtue of being on a live socket, you can easily replace the x4 950 with a Ryzen of your choice and the RAM I chose will allow the high speed ryzen likes. the case was a source of funds, the tesseract is available in other colors. I do not think you will need the extra cooler with this chip but its still on the list. new motherboard with DDR4 and M.2. I chose an M.2 SATA SSD 525GB and no cables to it.

Thanks, man. I was looking at the cheaper Ryzens, and now this gives me the option to upgrade in the future. I might just change the case, or something else. Thanks.

It would be foolish to buy anything on the AM3 platform. Especially if it is a $900 computer.

Do not build with either the X4 950 or fx 4350. Go with Ryzen. I put a Ryzen 1200 here, but the Intel i3 8100 will be released next week and has the potential to be a much better CPU for $120. I also put in the Samsung 850 EVO. It is the best selling SSD in the world and is the same price. Go with it.
