Amazon: and the sketchy graphics card listing

I was in the process of buying this card but decided to cancel my order as the title and information of the listing looked mostly inaccurate and doesn’t seem genuine. If you change the link to .de or any other country you get a completely different more accurate listing. I also contacted kfa2 and they said amazon isn’t an ‘authorised partner’ of theirs and they don’t recommend buying from them. Just to follow up on this when I called amazon to cancel my order I asked if the product was indeed being shipped and sold by them. They said yes and assured me they get all their supply from ‘trusted suppliers’ or something along those lines.

I was mainly wondering what people’s opinions of all of this are as I do want the card and I do like purchasing from amazon for their warranty and customer service. Also if you have any recommendations for a different card please let me know, thanks.

It's an odd one. KFA2 only has Overclockers as an official partner for their graphics cards. But I noticed Amazon.co.uk do occasionally have KFA2 graphics cards in stock.

I recently bought a KFA2 GTX 1070 ti EX from Amazon, and everything seems to check out. It's performing to spec and everything. Don't know about anyone else, but that's my experience.

It's a really sketchy purchase, not only is the title misleading but if you read the reviews the card is actually the 3gb version and not 6gb as listed in the title. I'd pass.

It does seem like the version that has been sold under that listing has varied from 3gb-6gb and oc-exoc but from checking the most recent question/answers it does seem to be the 1060 6gb.

Also I’m from the UK so I don’t know if Best Buy is going to be a good option for me.
