I have a kindle fire hd 7, the $50 version. And amazon keeps randomly buying downloading and opening the store to movies whenever I turn it on and unlock It.. multiple R rated movies have automatically been purchased, stuff I would never watch or look at, I am so confused!

sounds to me like someone else is on your account as well.

go to the amazon site and log in and change the account password. you can see what devices are activated on the account and see if someone other than family has a device activated. if someone else is using the account, then they won't know the new password, if this still happens, then contact amazon quickly. they will reset everything to ensure only the devices you want on the account are and no others. plus they'll likely work with you to refund purchases you did not make.

Actually I set it up, it belongs to my little sister, but I did not think that was necessary, my mom is weirded out by the problem too, since even she and my dad wouldn't watch those movies.... But I understand you thinking someone may be buying them and they just syncing to the kindle. I am a pretty techy guy, so if there is anything complicated that needs to be done, I could probably do it... also, she has parental controls on, and usually uses Kindle FreeTime, so she cannot buy anything without the password..
