Hi. I'm building a £1800 PC in the next few days. I can either get all the parts from Scan, or Amazon UK (and sold by amazon). Scan is slightly cheaper and they're a dedicated hardware store, but Amazon has great customer service so if something went wrong when building the PC, Amazon usually accept returns and replacements without question.
Any have any experience with either of these when buying parts? In particular Scans returns policy.

Solution
Amazon is an easier return policy, so they'd win out there.

Scan seem to list a fairly decent return policy too - but I don't have any first hand experience.
Essentially if a component is defective, they'll refund. Even if a component is incompatible, they'll generally refund, less a 10quid restocking/testing fee.

Whether they'd stick to that or not though, I don't know.

For the peace of mind and known return polciy, I'd just go for Amazon.
