I get that. I'm not wild about QLC, though. I'll probably buy a QLC drive eventually, but I'm trying to delay that day as much as possible.

i'd not expect too much dropping on an 8tb model. it's still very niche and expensive. seems the 4tb is in the same boat as they are dropping much slower than the 1 and 2 tb models which are in free fall.
