Am I being foolish for being shocked at this? This is worse than jank eBay prices, the highest I've seen is around £330 yet Amzon have the price hiked up way over MSRP at £360? Overclockers are selling it at £320, sure just buy the CPU at Overclockers but isn't that besides the point? At Amazon, that's almost the price of the 5800X.

Overclockers is Overclockers.
Amazon is:
-Amazon
-Deals4less
-Awesomedeals
-Bestdealsever
-Bestbargains
-3rd party seller #38
And so on. It's turned into one big 3rd party marketplace over time, which isn't exactly good for us...

Gotta take note of SELLER and SHIPPER.
If it isn't:
-shipped and sold by Amazon
-shipped by Amazon and sold by an approved reseller[no guarantees on that last one; they COULD still raise the price, but it's less likely.]
Then expect to pay jacked up prices.

Eugh, ok, I didn't notice that. Well at least that gives Amazon some credit, still wish they would enforce some sort of respectible MSRP policies on 3rd party vendors.
