In my personal, but somewhat expert opinion, this drive is the cheapest crap available on the market. This is a good choice for some, who want the highest possible capacity per dollar spent, but not for others, who value reliability, longevity and performance, especially if you need consistent performance, or plan to use the drive as part of a raid or ZFS array. ZFS and many other software based raid and raid-like solutions, will often fail to rebuild after a drive failure, if using drives like this one.
