Amber light on ram stick

I have a 8 GB ram stick and when my pc is turned on an amber LED on the ram stick itself (not on the motherboard) lights up. I just want to know if this means that there is a problem with the ram.

8 gb DDR3 Kingston ram
GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0) AM3+/AM3 AMD 760G USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
my PSU is 485 watts

Please link tot he exact ram but it sounds like this may be LED ram and its supposed to light up.
