Specs:
Asus ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming Motherboard LGA1151
Corsair CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200
i9-9900K
Corsair RM850x
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB
Corsair H100i PRO RGB AIO
Rosewill Cullinan MX RGB Case

When I start up, it flashed the CPU LED red for 1 short flash, then the DRAM LED on the mobo is a steady amber/yellow. Never boots up BIOS and mouse/keyboard don't activate (they have lights on them). The mobo is lit up, as is the DRAM itself and the corsair cooler/pump. Is it a problem with the RAM? I read on another forum that 2666 MHz is actually the max this mobo allows and i have 3200 MHz

Update: I bought a set of new 2666 DDR4 RAM that was on the QVL list and installed. Still amber/yellow light. I tried installing all 4 RAM sticks individually. Same result. Reset the CMOS as well. Nothing new changes. Any other ideas? Bad motherboard?

That motherboard supports over 4000mhz RAM. Not my pick to pair with a 9900k but I’d start by trying each RAM stick by itself.

I always prefer Gskill Trident for RGB. If you can afford DDR 3600, I’d go with that.
