ambient sound stops in The Forest when jumping/sprinting

when i am jumping/sprinting, sounds like water flowing, birds, movement sound, stop and appear again when i swing my axe/attack something, etc etc... i already turned the volume to 100%, checked sound settings but couldnt find anything.

any suggestions?

Game bug? Might just be the way their audio engine is designed.
