Hello,

My have a system with AMD 1950X TR and ASUS X199-A PRIME. I have connected a 24-pin ATX power cable from PSU to a 24-pin ATX power socket. For the CPU to work, I also connected the second 8-pin power connector from PSU to its dedicated socket EATX12V_1. I am confused about a third socket EATX12V_2 (see this Photo, which shows the extra 4-pin socket). The manual of that motherboard is not very clear about it. It only recommends that this socket is only to be use when 8-pin is already connected, not alone but it says nothing about if it needs to be used.

Do you think I should connect power to the extra 4-pin power socket? I have an extra PSU -> CPU cable which I can split into 4+4, do you know if I can use the cable for EATX12V_2?

Thanks
