AMD 270x on Assassin's Creed 4

I got AC4 today and when I max out the settings, I get 1 fps. Seriously strange. The rest of the options like, ambient occlusion etc are fine but when I max out my anti-aliasing, the game gets tormented! I'm having to play on MSAA only and it looks horrendous while I can max out on Battlefield 4 and still get 30-40 fps (campaign mode). Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?

AMD 270x
8 gb hyperx ram
amd 8320 processor
windows 8

ac4 is poorly optimized, and your build should run it on high-very high with 40+ fps.

aa is not great for gaming, just turn it of completely and check again. not good idea to use aa on a lower end gpu anyways. ac4 is a console port so it dont work right.

i notice a huge difference from no AA to x2 AA, but after x2 it just sucks up fps.
