Asking for someone who wants a cheap build for internet, watching film and sometimes simple older games. I'm thinking of these two options:

AMD 3200G (onboard Vega 8 graphics)

or:

AMD 240 GE (Vega 3) + free AMD Radeon HD 6850 graphics card.

Motherboard will probably be a B550 when they come out.

What are your thoughts?

Solution
The 4 core/4 thread (3200G) will always beat the 2 core/4 thread (240 GE) processor. And the Vega 8 iGPU is about on a par with the old HD 6850. Actually, faster in some key areas like texture detail and NBody calculations.

Add to that the fact that the 3200G will accept a faster discrete graphics card w/o bottlnecking unlike the 240 GE. The future looks brighter with the 3200G/Vega 8.
