I think the question was whether or not certain softwares don't run on AMD

I don't believe there's any major software program that you cannot run on AMD, assuming its a windows based system. Also get the fx-6300 and ignore 4300, 6300 is not much more and better

I would go with an i3 4130. They run cooler, are faster than a 4300. FX 6300 competes with them in certain aspects, but generally has to be overclocked to clearly win.

I couldn't run edius 7 on AMD atlhon II because it didnt have SSSE3 support, but AMD FX series procesors are newer and have all support you could need to run any software.

the fx-6300 is fine in india, you may want to get a cooler master tx3 cooler as a cheap stock replacement though or you could go for the i3 4130.
