Hello,I have a problem with my AMD Radeon HD 4670 1GB graphics card.
Well the problem is that when the temperature rises (summer) at some point screen freezes
and windows says "Driver stopped unexpectedly but recovered." (ONLY when playing League of Legends) after first freeze it will GSOD me. I also play other games much more heavier that LOL (Company of heroes 2,Tomb raider 2013) but i didn t get any GSOD.I havent had any GSOD since October 2015 but now it popped up again.(late May 2016)The thing is my card can reach up to 70 degrees celcius but i only have seen it going up to 65 at full load so I don t think this is a teperature problem (at idle it is 37-40).I have installed the latest drivers from AMD website.

My specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9500 2.83Ghz
4GB of 667 Mhz RAM
AMD Radeon HD 4670 1GB DDR3
450W PSU PowerTech
AsRock G41C-GS
1TB WD HDD SATA III

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like bad thermal paste, Im just guessing ! Hopefully someone can chime in but i assume if the thermal paste isn't working as intended it would cause problems no matter what temps your reading, as said before, just a guess ! very easy to replace and it does not void warranty, even though i doubt it has any !

So sorry for taking so long to answer but I was afraid of damaging the GPU but I finally did it (after watching half the database of youtube on how to apply thermal grease on GPU :) ).
Well I played 3 games and nothing appeared so I will take this as a FIX (finally).
Inside the GPU the old thermal grease was like an actual part of the GPU after so many years wtf?
Thank you mate I think it's fixed but if anyhting happens again I will post back have an awsome day. :)
