I have the AMD 5000+ Black box edition 65nm CPU, I have overclocked it to 3ghz stable, ran orthos for 12 hours no errors, plus the 5 days it was on afterwards(without orthos, just downloading and simple stuff).
But i can not OC higher then 3ghz, i either cant boot at all and have to reset the cmos, or it starts to load windows and gets a BSOD. I have the multiplier at 15 and frequensy at 200, cpu voltage is at auto(1.23, i think)(OCed its at 1.36)
I have tryed increasing the voltage manualy but both times i have tried i have had to reset cmos.
How can I get it higher OCed? if possible
Any Ideas

heres my specs
AMD 5000+ 65nm 2.6 stock n 3ghz (with nonstock heatsink)
Corsair PC2-5400 (2x1gig strips)
(timings 5-5-5-15-19)
Motherboard: Asus M2A-VM (latest bios update)
PSU Antec 500wyatts
Nvidia 7600 GT
plus 3 hard drives
1 DVD drive

These chips only OC to around 3.0 to 3.3 Ghz max, I would say you got a dud that wont go any higher.

You can try more voltage up to 1.4v, but i'm not sure if this is safe on this CPU. I've had a S939 4400+ running at 1.6v for 2+ years though and its still fine, but thats an older CPU.
