Amd 5350 vs core 2 quad q6600

Which is better. I'm scared of going used because of reasons such as bios update, broken parts, etc etc. Which is better 5350 or core 2 quad. Going to be playing low end games such as minecraft,fallout new vegas,and old console emulators such as dolphin wii emulator.

The q6600 is more performance but unless you are getting the whole pc for $50, I'd stay away from something so old.
