AMD 6300 gigabyte ga-970a-d3p overclocking issues

I just built my system and started over clocking. Once I go past 3.7 ghz my pc either boots on and off, or freezes before I can log in. The problem gets worse when I turn off cpu boost. I was thinking I would just leave it on and set the clock to the same multiplier? Any help please! I'm new to overclocking and don't want to mess up my new system

Check your voltage

I have GA-970A-DS3P board and my FX 6300 is OC to 4.6 Ghz just check your voltage and run PRIME 95 stress test
