AMD 64 3000+ Boxed stock cooler?

How good is the stock cooler on a AMD 64 3000+ ?

I am not going to OC, but is it very loud?

its a pretty good heatsink, and is good even if u Oc a little bit


i had it for a whle and its quiet , also if u have an asus board and have Q-fan on.. its very very quiet

It works just fine with a little OC too, and for the noise there's no need to worry about - you can always use AMD cool'n'quiet

Mine is running a little 500 MHz OC.... no overheating, barely going into the high 40C
