AMD 6770 or AMD 7770

So I'm planning on buying a graphics crad but I don't know which one to choose. The 6770 or the 7770.

My budget is £80 but I'm willing to up £20; I found 7770 for £100.

The 7770 is head and shoulders above the 6770. No brainer. 28nm vs 40nm tech reduces heat, power consumption and it pushed more raw power. Spend the extra 20.

My opinion is spend the extra money on the 6850/6870 as they will on average out perform the 7770 for the same price. If power or heat is a worry for you, then you can't go wrong with the 7750/7770.

The 7770 is a pretty good deal at that price. The HD6850 is slightly faster though for the same money.

It may be pointless as DX9 is rather old, but you may suffer worse FPS in cases where DX10/DX11 is not an option, could be due to drivers but I think it may be related to the arc. the 7000 series is built on.

hav a 7770 becoz its more powerful than 6000 series .....you ca max out games such as max payne 3 ..gta 4 ...bf3

buy the 7770, it is 30% faster than the 6770, and is equal to a 6850, and overclocks better
