AMD 6970 Monitor Issue

Monitor : X-STAR DP2710LED 2560x1440

Hey, just got this monitor today. Connected it up but I can't get a display. I'm using the correct cable DVI-D that came with the monitor. It won't even post. I tried both DVI-D slots on the graphics card.
So i reconnected my Acer G24 and opened up the CCC. It can see the X-Star monitor but I can't do anything with it. When I put the cursor over the icon it shows "DVI-D DFP, DVI Disabled"

To be sure it wasn't the monitor I connected to another PC which has a 660ti and works perfectly.

I'm truly at a lost here and some help would be much appreciated.

Well I tried both those slots. Sorry if i got the naming wrong.

So the card doesn't support it?

That's a 6950.

DVI Dual Link has both DVI-I and DVI-D.

Your monitor (1440p, PLS) also has a DVI-D connector.

The graphics card and monitor should work together.

Does the monitor show up in Control Panel, Display Settings?

Then its not plugged in properly or the bale has failed or the graphics card isn't plugged in properly or the monitor is faulty.

So your trying to run dual screens? In that case you have to enable the second output in the display settings in windows.....

Already mentioned it doesn't show in display. Also it doesn't post. The card is screwed or there is some bios setting.
