AMD 7770 Power Supply

Currently I have a Dell Inspiron 545 with Core 2 Quad Q9400 (2.66 GHz) and Intel Integrated Graphics. I want to upgrade so I can play games and run Adobe Creative Suite CS6, mainly Premiere Pro and Photoshop. For games, mostly FPS games (CoD, Battlefield 3, Borderlands 2, Crysis, etc) I do not care about 8xAA and "Ultra settings" and all that stuff. I just would like to be able to get a decent (at least 45) framerate at native resolution (1680x1050)

I am probably going to get an AMD 7770 and I need help on which card (Asus, MSI, Sapphire, etc) and what PSU I need. Currently there is a 300W PSU, will that be enough or should I upgrade?

TL;DR Best 7770 or equivalent for the money and do I need a new PSU

At that resolution you'll be able to turn up the settings on those games but not the anti aliasing (not worth it if you ask me) and yes you'll need to upgrade your power supply. The cheapest PSU i'd recommend is a XFX CORE EDITION 450w POWER SUPPLY UNIT anything lower than that and you're pushing your luck. I'm currently saving up for one as well and i'm too afraid to even power on my system running a 9600 GSO

Huh BS my Inspiron 545 has a C2D E7500 =( . Anyways i grabbed a GTX650Ti and a CM Elite Power 400W PSU ( it actually has a nice efficiency ) , im not sure if its going to work fine or how much power im drawing from that PSU, but whatever you pick make sure its a good branded PSU.

Thank you all so much, I think that 650 ti and 500W bundle is probably a good buy, a little more than i was thinking of spending, but that would be good in case of future upgrades

Well i ve been enjoying my 650Ti a lot, huge performance boost. But if you can make a stretch and get a 7850, any good 430W psu like the CX-430 will do. Also my 650Ti has been running fine on a 400W ( the PSU i listed before ) and from what i ve been told it can hold it easily .
