amd 8 core or quad core?

I'm thinking of either getting an AMD FX 8350 or a FX 4350 quad core. I've read that the 8350 isn't that good because it has 8 cores.

The 8 core is not as good as it sounds when you look at the specs, but it's good for gaming and it should be good in the future for games that will use more than 4 processing threads. I'm not sure if you will see a huge difference between the 4350 and the 8350 in most games that are out now.
