Hey I have an 8 core processor but in bios is selected all cores but in task management is showing just 3 cores and 6 logical processors . Like 3 weeks ago I set the computer to active just 4 cores instead of 8 because I don't have a very good power supply and not when I set the bios to factory settings my windows sees just 6 from 8 cores how I can fix that? Sorry for my bad English I hope you understand thanks

Anyways, are you sure your motherboard doesn't have a battery? I've not heard of a motherboard that doesn't have a battery. It's small and flat, looks like a watch battery. In fact, you can buy replacements in the jewelry department at Walmart.

What is your motherboard make and model? I can probably find the battery in manufacturer product images.
Please power off the tower, unplug it, press and hold the power button for five seconds to drain any remaining power, open the tower and remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard. After one minute, place the CMOS battery back in the motherboard, verify BIOS settings and try again.
