Hello, every time I try to run a virtual machine (windows 8.1,2012,7 in particular) I get the error VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system.

I'm pretty sure my CPU and MOBO support it to. I'm currently using:
GA-990FXA-UD3 (Rev 4.0) Version: F1
AMD FX-8350

I tried checking my BIOS but their is not option for virtualization to be enabled or disabled.

I ran this program called "Speccy" and it's telling me that's enabled.
You can see that in the link below.

If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

The Virtualization option is located in your BIOS inside M.I.T. -> Advanced CPU Core Features -> SVM

That option usually comes enabled by default but check it to be sure it is enabled.

Speccy showing that is enabled makes me think its a software related issue, I've read on other threads of people having issues with Windows 8 + VMWare, not sure if you're trying with VMWare as well or if this problem is with Win 8 in general, you'll have to look around for other threads where people managed to solve this issue on Win 8 / 8.1.
