AMD 8350 on steady temperature increase?

I have never had problems with my PC until recently. The computer itself is custom built, built by TigerDirect. I've had it for about two years now and it recently started to show some problems. Random blue screens and such.
However, that is not the reason of my post, as frankly blue screens are not much of a nuisance to me. A steady temperature climb to 90C is. This only happens so far when I am playing Battlefield 4 and it just started happening. (I bought BF4 when it came out and worked fine then). This doesn't happen on anything other game including Battlefield 3. The reason I am not posting this on their forums is because I don't see how a game could trigger a climb like this. It will go up quickly to about 70-80C then linger a bit. Then it'll reach 90 Eventually and shut down. It's not my cooling as my fans never served a problem before. I am thinking thermal paste, but not sure, can someone give their input on the culprit of this? I run my fans on maximum setting while trying to lower the temperature also. This does not affect my Graphics Card at all (stays about 60C while playing Battlefield on Ultra). I tried lowering the settings in Battlefield to low but it just makes it jump up even more.
Thanks in advance.

Solution
If the problem was thermal paste, I would think it would show up in other games as well. And 2 years is not time to change TIM yet anyway. But if it eliminates one possibility, no matter how slim, it might be wise to change it.

Another thought would be possible virus or malware infection. Update your virus pgm and run a FULL scan. Same with malware; I use Mailwarebytes.
