I was wondering if the ASUS M4A78T-E motherboard would be compatible with the AMD FX 8350 processor.

There is no specification for motherboard and graphics card compatibility; except that your motherboard should have a PCI Express x16 slot.
A modern PCI Express 3.0 graphics card will work in a motherboard with a PCI Express x16 2.0 slot.
