Amd 9650 replcement

Hello, I have a HP with a Phenom 9650 cpu. It is suffering overheating issues. What would be a decent replacement processor compatible with the motherboard?

overheating doesn't mean the processor needs to be replaced (unless damage has been done). For an overheating processor the remedy would be a new CPU cooler or merely cleaning out the dust from the computer case. Now to be specific, do state you HP computer model or at least the motherboard model IF you want a new CPU.
