Hi All,

I have a PC everything working perfectly previously with a 9800X3D. Just purchased a 9950X3D and now issues with C5 Boot code error.

PC Specs;
Gigabyte Aorus Master - Bios F4, Have tried Bios F5b with same issue
CPU - 9950X3D
G Skill Z5 ram 2 X 32gig are on the QVL list - F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5RK

PC will boot with 1 stick of ram in A2, will not boot with 1 stick in B2, will not boot with A2 and B2 populated. Reseated ram numerous times, also reseated CPU, no bent pins.

Anyone else have the same issue or know of a fix ?

All help and info appreciated

Gigabyte have a number of boards under the Aorus Master for the AM5 socket, which one do you have? Did you clear the CMOS after verifying your BIOS was successfully flashed to F5b? Ideally you're advised to disconnect from the wall and display, then remove the CMOS battery from the board, press and hold down the power button for 30secs to drain any residual power. Reseat the CMOS battery after 30mins.

PC will boot with 1 stick of ram in A2, will not boot with 1 stick in B2, will not boot with A2 and B2 populated.
That would indicate your processor's IMC(Integrated Memory Controller) might be faulty. Have you tried dropping your 9950X3D onto another known working motherboard with the right BIOS version?

How are you cooling your processor?
