Amd a 10 7870k or i5 6600

Hello i fave a dilema i want to upgrade my cpu from core 2 dio 7300 to one of these a10 7870k or i5 6600
The problem is that the i5 in my countri is about 300 dollars and amd 145 it's worth spending the extra 155?
I searched and for the amd i didn't find a mobo with ddr4 only with ddr3
So i want an opinion what procesor soould i buy and if the gaming diference betwen the two cpu's is huge or small

If performance is your primary need, then go with the i5-6600. It will out-perform the A10-7870K by a wide margin in nearly all comparisons.

How about an i5 4460? You could use DDR3 with that and it's only about 5% slower. The A10 has a great iGPU, but its CPU is weak. do you plan to use a discrete GPU?

You have to answer the question about a separate discrete GPU first. It makes a huge difference. Will you be buying a GPU/VGA and if so, what one?

Not sure what shoddy sites you went to, but here's the full story:
1) The 6600 is massively better than the 7870k as a CPU. Even at 4.5GHz the 7870 is much slower.
2) The 7870k has a better integrated graphics chip, though the margin is much smaller than ever since the HD500 series came out
3) If you have a graphics card, go with the 6600. If not, either will work

The APU won't run at 4.5Ghz most of the time when its an APU. 3.0Ghz is about the best you can expect.
