AMD A10-5745m for programming and design?

hi folks. i'm looking to buy a new laptop and i'm on a budget. my main use will be to run automation & programming softwares like Siemens Simatic Manager, RSLogix5000, Wonderware Intouch, Visual Studio etc.

I'm currently looking at the HP Pavillion 15, with the AMD A10 5745M proc, 4 GB ram, Vga Radeon R7 M260 2 GB.

will this amd processor be able to run these softwares smoothly?? or do i have to get an intel laptop?

It will be a decent choice but don't expect absolute butter smooth performance

The A10 5745M is a mid-range CPU that can do most of today's average computing but may struggle in some programming.

The 4 gigs of ram is the minimum for that but its ok

Overally it should run fine just not super cala fragilistic expialidociously good

will it stutter / lag or even freeze though? as long as there's no stutter or lag or even freeze is fine for me.
about the ram, i will definitely update it to 8gb minimum, so it should help right.
is there any benckmark out there that shows what kinds of software/tasks a processor can run? it will be good information, cos right now i'm completely blind.

i've just checked on the siemens website, the minimum hardware requirements for TIA PORTAL V13 is core i5 and 8gb ram. looks like i'gonna have to get at least a core i5 laptop to work it man. this is not good.
