AMD A10 5800K 4.5 cinebench problem

It's to do with how different versions of windows identify the core/threads
i'm assuming your running Win8 which shows 2core (2 modules) / 4 threads

While the other guy is running Win7 which see's it as 4cores / 4 threads

2 cores/4 threads is what you want to see, anyway - it means the scheduler will load up each individual bulldozer/piledriver module fully before hitting the second core on any individual module- which is going to be faster in lightly threaded loads like gaming.

my voltage is 1.51875 and i didnt change any settings in cpu-z

Ok thanks am about to change my Mobo anyways. i have the same APU but i pair it with an HD 7770 and disable the integrated graphics

The program identifies the A10 58XX as being a 2 module processor with 2 cores and 4 threads. This argument has been done into the ground and even AMD have come out to explain the nature of the module architecture, suffice to say AMD deem it a 4 core processor with 4 active Threads.

I would not be worried about it, its still a 4 Core APU irrespective of software identification.
