amd a10 5800k and gtx 970

how much bottleneck will i experience if i use a gtx970 with a amd a10 5800k (keep in mind i have a 500$ budget and if i upgrade my whole system i wont be able to get the gtx 970

Big compared to an modern I5! Basically you would have an unbalanced rig. The reason why I do not recommend FM2+ systems for high end gaming PC's rather all purpose or casual gaming.

Maybe save a while longer so budget goes up? Never seen a positive recommendation for an a-series with a powerful gpu. Guess you could run like that while saving for new cpu/mobo.

that's the problem Christmas is coming up and that is when the budget will be the highest after that the budget will decrease and i wont be able to get nothing!
