AMD A10 5800k awful processor power

So I have been using my amd a10 app for the past 2 years and I noticed the performance got worse and worse over time until now where I can’t even run games without it bottle nevking my gpu plz help

Do you mean it got worse doing the same things (e.g. playing the same games) over time, or that it keeps performing worse and worse in new games?

its either that A) As we all know, old AMD CPUs are trash and it's about time yours is showing its true colors or B) you need to take off your CPU Cooler, clean off the old thermal paste and apply a new layer. Sometimes if your CPU is getting too hot, it won't allow itself to go over a certain limit.
