Hi everyone I would like to ask if you need to keep the $ plug APU power plug to me kept plugged on the motherboard or can you u disconnect it if you have a discrete gpu.

CPU: AMD A10 5800k

MOBO: MSI A75MA E35

well there is a atx 4 pin connector on the board it says you need it for the apu but what would happen if i were to plug it out

Then your APU won't be operational and your PC won't boot
