I have a liquid cooler (Thermaltake Frio) and my cpu wont go over 4.8 GHz no matter what, even when amd overdrive does happed to hit 4.9, when i switch to it, my computer becomes VERY unstable
I have put the voltage to the maximum my mobo allows (1.425 volt) and it still does it. My temps never hit 40c under full load using furmarks cpu burner
you've reached the max that CPU/Mobo combination can reach then. keep it at 4.8Ghz and decrease the voltage until it becomes unstable, then put it back up one notch again. overvolting will damage the CPU.
have you increased vCore voltage in BIOS? if not increase it by 1 increment, boot in and test again, keep going until stable, but keep your eye on temps! more voltage = higher temps.
Also, you may have reached the max that chip can handle, every chip is different, google 'silicon lottery'
