Motherboard is the ASRock Fatal1ty FM2A88X+ Killer

Cooler is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

I have the cpu clocked at 4.2ghz at 1.5 vcore. LLC is at 0%. APM disabled. Cool n Quiet disabled. C6 disabled. Spread spectrum disabled. Turbo disabled. Everything else is on auto. The voltage is pretty high because it won't get stable if its any lower.

I have gotten up to 4.5ghz with the max voltage of 1.55 vcore, but i can't get it to not crash after an hour or two. It has a 3 degree Celsius thermal margin at max voltage. I know that that voltage is too high. So can I get some help please?

What's your NB voltage and frequency? Also, your mobo only has a 4+2 VRM configuration, having more does make a huge difference in stability, even if they're of bad quality. Also, since you do have an a10-7850k, Kaveri has a problem with P-States even when the iGPU is not even being used(all 860k owners know this, like me): a10-7850ks need about 0.05V on the core, which is a lot, even on the stock config.

Finally, are you using the APU without a dedicated GPU? If not, we discovered your problem. Hoped I helped you.

This graph looks like the one i see in bios. So i think that is the max setting.

100% but i have changed the settings. I have 4.2Ghz stable at 1.35vcore and an offset of +0.050. Everything is the same except that i turned off thermal throttling and and enabled C6. The only problem is if my temps are around 65 degrees C it starts to thermal throttle.

I am using a GTX 760 with the integrated graphics disabled. I am considering buying an ASUS Crossblade Ranger and the overclocking potential is better on the board because its an 8 phase.
