I currently have an A10 7860K APU working with a 600W generic PSU and i want to upgrade my integrated graphics with a GT 1030 (i can't afford anything better). My question is: is there a real difference between the integrated graphics of the A10 and the GT 1030?, it's worth to upgrade?

Solution
You can run eSports titles on a GT 1030 just fine and it will be better than Integrated graphics. I would expect roughly 2 times better graphics performance with the GT 1030. If possible, I'd recommend saving a bit more money to get a GTX 1050. The 1030 GT performs poorly outside light games. If you ever wanted to play AAA tiles you may find yourself wanting to upgrade again. Your PSU could handle a GTX 1050 as well and they are small sized cards with no PCIe connectors needed.
The 1030 doubles your graphics performance, and the A10, even though dated, does not throttle your GT 1030.
So, by price-performance, it is a good choice, if that is your budget.
Still: What is the native resolution of your monitor, and what games do you play at what resolution?

Thanks for your reply 😀, my monitor's resolution is 1600x900 and i only want to play some esports games (lol, overwatch, fortnite) and probably some aaa games, i don't mind if i have to play on very low graphics or less than 60 fps.
