Do I have to enable the cpu's gpu cores due to already having a graphics card in my pc or does the cpu's gpu cores automatically run even though a gpu is in my pc?

Installing the card should disable your onboard, make sure you connect the monitor to the card.

you dont have to disable your integrated gpu and make any changes to the GPU configuration

by default settings, integrated GPU is used when you are doing something that need high graphich performance
and dedicated GPU will be used when you are doing something that need high graphich performance
