before i bought this cpu i did some research where lots of them claimed that this cpu can run dota 2 and csgo on ultra without the extra hassle but then when i bought it the cpu cant go beyond 30 fps on dota 2 when its set on ultra even though i have 8gb 1600mhz ram and an rx 560 gpu. what seems to be the problem?

I've done a little digging, looks like that is the kind of performance you will get with that cpu in Dota 2. Dota 2 doesn't like older AMD cpu's much (runs far better on same age Intel pars). The RX 560 is capable of ~ 90fps if running with a more powerful cpu (the new AMD Ryzen parts or any recent Intel cpu should handle this).

Does that mean the cpu got downgraded for Dota 2? Because benchmarks and reviews from 3 years ago shows that the a10 7870k can run it on 60fps....
Can the cpu be overclocked tho?

Thanks in advance

I couldn't find any A10 7870K vids whilst also using an RX 560. I found a few showing it running at 30fps on ultra, although that might have been with the integrated gpu?

Dota 2 might have been updated to make it more taxing? Otherwise if there is info saying it should be good for 60fps then maybe you have an issue... first question, have you checked to make sure Dota 2 is running on the RX 560 and not the integrated gpu on the A10?
